Bolo has always been my devoted champion and teacher, through all life’s ups and downs. In our incredible 17-year-long journey together I tried to be the very best dog mom, that he was so deserving of. Once I’ve had time to grieve and reflect, I’ll write more on what a profound impact he had on my life.
I will share his passing, and hope to give others the courage to let their best friend go when it’s their time. For now please keep Bolo in your thoughts and hold your dog close, for we only have them in our lives for such a short precious time. And although I’m heartbroken beyond words, I will try to keep believing the spirit only gives us what we can handle. What an honor to have been Bolo’s mom. He was a warrior.
There are no words adequate enough to express how sorry I am to hear this Kelly. We all knew it would happen one day, our loved ones cannot stay with us forever, but while he was here, he gave you everything, his heart, his love and his soul. He will rest in peace knowing that he brought you joy and comfort throughout his extraordinarily long life. In return you gave him love and care and a wonderful life.
