A HOME FOR HANS?
Hans had a very tough start in life. He was regularly beaten and abused by his owner, before coming to WVS several years ago as a senior dog for adoption. Despite these experiences, he’s always been an exceedingly loving dog; always aiming to please. Unfortunately, our busy shelter environment was not helpful in overcoming his severe trauma and anxiety.
His luck finally changed when renowned trainer and behavior consultant Nienke Parma of Luckydogs-th decided to take Hans under her wing. For more than a year he learned to trust again and relax under Nienke’s expert care and guidance. Thanks to her intervention, Hans is now a much more balanced and confident doggy, and we hope to finally find the right home for him.
A calm and supportive home environment without other pets or young children is essential for Hans. He is very devoted to people who care for him and will want to be near them as much as possible. He’s very alert and intelligent and enjoys mental stimulation, as well as physical activities.
Weighing in at about 14 Kg, Hans is very healthy, fully vaccinated, and sterilized.
