WVS Thailand does amazing work for unfortunate street dogs and their cancerous tumors. Help Fight TVT Cancer! These mostly unwanted and forgotten dogs come by them by no fault of their own, other than they are uncared for by the majority. When volunteering for Care for Dogs many years ago, I saw the results first hand when assisting with the chemotherapy treatments. The outcomes were miraculous! I urge you to donate, every little bit helps. For only $13, one dog can be treated per week and $120 can cure a dog in their full course of treatment and save its life.
I know times may be hard for some right now, but please give whatever you can, if you are able.
🙏HELP US CURE THIS CANCER NOW!🙏
These dogs, and many more, suffer from TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumors), a form of cancer in dogs and other canine species. The cause is a virus which is transmitted from dog to dog during mating. The tumors, as many other types of cancer, spread and grow and eventually cause agonizing pain and death, unless the dog receives effective treatment.
Fortunately, the WVS veterinary team have the ability to treat, and cure this particular form of cancer through chemotherapy, with a very high recovery rate. And sterilizing helps to prevent the spread of this disease.
But the drugs to treat just one dog cost THB 3800 on average and the treatment in our dedicated TVT ward requires us to house and feed the dog for 6-10 weeks. Many dogs cannot receive treatment due to the high cost of medication.
For about THB 400 we can treat and care for one TVT patient for a week. For THB 3800 you allow us to save one of these dog’s lives and end the suffering. PLEASE GIVE NOW AND HELP US BEAT THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE!

Thank you for highlighting this important issue! TVT is one more source of suffering, arising from uncontrolled mating behavior, and its prevalence is directly impacted by mass-sterillization programs.
In the meantime all we can do is treat (and sterilize) as many of these unfortunate dogs as possible.
Of course Mark, you’re most welcome. It’s just terrible to see the pain these dogs go through, and so many cases unknown and suffering. Thank you to WVS for the continued work of helping to heal these dogs in need.
